Do I need sewing experience?
No. The course starts with how an industrial machine works and builds from there.
Do I need my own sewing machine?
No. Industrial sewing machines are provided during the lessons.
Do I buy the class books?
No. Class books are included in the fees.
Do I buy my own stationery and fabric?
No. You only buy fabric if you choose to work with premium or personal fabrics.
Can I pay the fees in halves?
Yes. Pay in full, or pay R3,500 with your registration and the balance midway through the course.
Are the fees refundable?
No, fees are non-refundable.
Which days and times are the classes?
Saturday mornings (9am–12pm), Saturday afternoons (1pm–4pm), or Thursday evenings (5pm–8pm), once a week.
Do I get a certificate?
Yes. Every student who completes the course receives a certificate of completion.
What is the minimum age?
13 years.
Is the course for men's or women's wear?
Both. It is one combined course covering men's and women's garments.
